P802 is a nickel-iron alloy with low coefficient of thermal expansion for the production of molds for aircraft industry and electronic industry, for measurement devices (e.g. rules, scales) temperature measuring devices, thermostats, compensation elements.
Nickel-iron alloy with low coefficient. The minimum of the coefficient of thermal expansion is in a range of 0 to 40°C. Over the break point at abt. 200°C the coefficient of thermal expansion increases significantly. At temperatures over 300°C teh material reaches teh values which are usual for austenitic steels. Good properties at low temperatures
