The multilayer production demands the highest degree of exactness. The demand on quality and accuracy on pressing tools are just as high. Only a few materials can meet these demands. We developed the precipitation hardenable steel grade BÖHLER N702 of the type AISI 630 which gives you the advantages listed below:

• a high, uniform degree of hardness due to precipitation hardening
• optimum flatness and resistance to distortion in continuous operation under thermal shock stresses due to the use of the BÖHLER cross-rolling technology
• closest tolerances
• excellent surface finish optimized for respective application
• homogeneity in the tool package by using the same material for the top and bottom plates as well as the separator plates.

Condition of supply:

• shear cut, cold sawn or laser cut
• machined according to customer drawings
• with holes for transportation and handling
• with registration holes and / or slots
• also available with hardened bushings according to the customer design
• hardened registration pins
