Integrated production – from melting to finish

With our integrated production – from melting to the surface finish – we are able to satisfy all customer requests while maintaining a constantly high quality standard. Vacuum induction melting and remelting (VIM, VAR) for high purity grades and the state-of-the-art pressure electroslag remelting process are the heart of the BÖHLER special steel works. As a result, our tool steels, specialities and Press Plates meet for the most stringent demands. Of course, BÖHLER also has a powder metallurgical department for the production of high performance grades with superior properties.
